How exciting to join the volunteers from the Do More Foundation in celebrating World Food Day on 13 October 2022. This year, they have once again showcased the value of collective action by preparing over 570,000 bowls of Rainbow chicken soup for disadvantaged people across 8 provinces. These delicious meals were prepared with generous contributions from Crown National donating their Chefβs Choice Soup and RCL Foodsβ brands donating Sunbake bread, Rama margarine and of course, Rainbow chicken. This was a collaborative event with 18 campaign partners, including RCL Foods, CHEP and Buckman who have recruited employee volunteers to help prepare the meals for Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres in their local communities. #DoMore partnered with the team of Breede Valley APDβs Knippie Liefde who assisted in cooking 300 litres of soup with the Do More volunteers at Breede Valley APD.
